Audio or Pronunciation Not Playing

If you can't hear word pronunciations or sound effects in Sound Safari:

Check your device volume:

- Make sure your device isn't on silent (check the mute switch on the side of your iPhone)

- Turn up the volume using the side buttons

- If using Bluetooth headphones, check they're connected

Check in-app audio settings:

1. Open Sound Safari

2. Go to Settings

3. Make sure Sound Effects is enabled

4. Check the Audio section for any toggles that may be off

If audio still doesn't work:

- Close and reopen the app

- Try with headphones vs speakers

- Restart your device

- Check if other apps have audio (to rule out a hardware issue)

Note: Pre-recorded audio pronunciations are being added gradually. If a word shows a speaker icon but doesn't play, it may not have a pre-recorded pronunciation yet. The app will use text-to-speech as a fallback.
