Therapist Mode vs Parent Mode

What each mode includes and how to switch.

Sound Safari has two modes designed for different users:

Therapist Mode

For speech-language pathologists and clinicians.

- Unlimited students

- SOAP note generation

- IEP goal tracking

- Articulation screener

- Probes with scheduling

- PDF progress reports

- Custom word lists

- Group sessions

- Homework assignment and parent sharing

Parent Mode

For parents practicing at home.

- Up to 2 children

- All practice sounds and games

- Homework from your therapist

- Progress tracking and streaks

- Simplified interface (clinical features hidden)

How to switch modes:

1. Open Sound Safari

2. Go to Settings

3. Scroll to the Account section and tap Switch to Parent Mode (or Switch to Therapist Mode)

4. Confirm the switch — your data is untouched either way

Your data is preserved when switching modes. Clinical features are just shown or hidden based on the mode.
